Job Descriptions
Responsibilities
1.Designing and Building Network Systems: Planning and constructing secure and efficient
2.Network infrastructures using appropriate technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, etc.
Network Equipment Management: Installing and configuring network devices like firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), virtual private networks (VPNs), and other security appliances.
3. System Maintenance: Monitoring and assessing network system issues and taking corrective actions to ensure efficient and secure operations.
4.Security Analysis and Monitoring: Analyzing digital threats and scanning systems to detect vulnerabilities, as well as responding to incidents.
5.Risk Planning and Management: Developing and implementing security policies and measures to mitigate risks to the network systems.
6.Researching New Technologies: Studying and experimenting with new technologies to enhance the security and efficiency of systems.
7.Providing Guidance and Training: Offering advice on improving security and adopting new technologies to users within the organization, as well as conducting training sessions to increase understanding of digital security matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or IT-related field
- 5-10 years of experience in IT/Network security.
- Proven work experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in IT security and network administration
- Knowledge of network security devices, protocols, and best practices (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
- Familiarity with implementing and maintaining security measures for internet-facing networks and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities effectively.
- Knowledge of emerging security technologies and trends, keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
