APP Timber was incorporated in 1998 to meet the growing demand of imported sawn timber due to reduced local hardwood resources. The company's initial name was "Asia Panel Products Sdn. Bhd." which was later renamed to the current name. APP Timber recognised the need of South East Asian wood manufacturers to diversify their resources to be able to become a global force exporting Asian made wood product using other than local wood species and our company fast became THE pioneer in promoting imported timber solutions to Asia.
APP Timber's core business is the supply of imported logs, timber, veneers and panel products for the Asian timber industry. APP Timber sources from all around the world and carries a full range of temperate hardwoods and softwoods products. With its HQ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, APP Timber runs marketing operations and warehousing across the whole of Asia.
