Job Descriptions
•Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including both beverage service (café/tea) and traditional Vietnamese food service (e.g., Bún Bò Huế, rice dishes, etc.). •Ensure consistent food quality and taste, following standard recipes and portion control guidelines. •Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared efficiently, hygienically, and delivered hot and fresh to customers. •Supervise food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. •Conduct regular food tasting sessions to maintain product consistency and gather customer feedback. •Monitor food inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective ingredient sourcing. •Prevent food waste by optimizing kitchen operations and closely tracking stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO). •Collaborate with chefs to create or adjust the menu, introduce new dishes, and seasonal offerings. •Ensure alignment between food and beverage offerings in terms of presentation, service time, and overall customer experience. •Train and coach kitchen and service staff on plating, food handling, allergen awareness, and service standards. •Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas in compliance with local health codes. •Handle customer complaints related to food quality, and work with the kitchen team to find effective solutions. •Plan and execute food promotions and combo offerings to drive revenue. •Coordinate daily prep lists, shift handovers, and kitchen-to-FOH communication. •Prepare and analyze daily/weekly food cost reports to ensure profitability and reduce variance. •Ensure that food and beverage synergy is reflected in operations – e.g., pairing beverages with meals, timing of order delivery, and cross-selling.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or higher; background in hospitality, culinary arts, or F&B management is a plus.
  2. At least 1 year of experience in managing a restaurant that serves both food and beverages.
  3. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage both FOH (Front of House) and BOH (Back of House) teams.
  4. Knowledge of food safety standards, portion control, and kitchen hygiene practices.
  5. Ability to analyze Cost (food cost, labor cost) and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills, especially when working with chefs, kitchen staff, and customers.
  7. Passion for delivering high-quality food and a memorable dining experience.
