Job DescriptionsKey Responsibilities
1. Real-time System Monitoring
Continuously monitor the Automation Control Tower dashboard to oversee the flow of goods through automated zones.
Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as throughput rates, system uptime, and bottleneck areas.
Identify technical anomalies or mechanical stalls via the Warehouse Control System (WCS).
2. Incident Management & Troubleshooting
Provide immediate first-level response to system errors, hardware jams, or software glitches.
Coordinate with the Maintenance and IT Engineering teams to resolve hardware breakdowns (e.g., sensor failures, motor issues).
Execute emergency procedures and manual overrides during critical system failures to minimize downtime.
3. Flow Optimization & Planning
Balance the workload across different automated stations to prevent congestion.
Collaborate with the Floor Operations team to adjust resource allocation based on real-time volume data.
Analyze system logs to identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
4. Reporting & Communication
Prepare daily operational reports detailing system performance, downtime incidents, and recovery actions.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (Outbound, Inbound, and Inventory) to ensure end-to-end synchronization.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior management or external vendors as required.
