Salary and conditions- 35-50,000 baht/month + 8,000 baht/month for accommodation; medical insurance; work permit; 10 days business leave; 15 days medical leave; and Thai public holidays- classes are 2–3-hour sessions and a maximum of 12 hours of teaching time per week King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) (www.kmutt.ac.th) is located in a park-like setting 9 kilometers from Bangkok in Thonburi. Two-bedroom, furnished, air-conditioned apartments (7,500-9,500 THB/month) are available, located next to Thonburi Park and just a 10-minute walk from KMUTT. An applicant should send a detailed resume with a recent photo, copies of degree certificates, a recent TOEIC score report, and references by email to Dr. Patcharaporn at elcs@sit.kmutt.ac.th ONLY short-listed candidates will be notified.

Qualifications

young, fun, enthusiastic, non-smoking English native speakers with EAP/EFL experience in Thailand, a master’s degree in TEFL/TESOL/ELT, an international TEFL/TESOL certificate, and a valid TOEIC score of at least 850 or CEFR Level C2
competent in using IT-equipped classrooms with classes of 25-30 undergraduate/postgraduate students
experienced in online teaching, in material and course re/design, and in working with a small, proactive professional team of colleagues
able to edit academic texts, and
able to do a full-time job, 30 hours a week.
