Job Descriptions
Brief Job Description: Responsible for acquiring new customers, maintaining and visiting existing customers, selling products and services, displaying products, consulting, and solving problems for customers to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction. Main Duties/Activities: 1. New customer acquisition: Receiving and studying new product information, searching for new customer data, preparing customer information, assessing the potential of customers and dealers. 2. Sales and after-sales service: Scheduling customer visits, proposing products, negotiating sales terms, handling government and private sector tenders, preparing and signing sales contracts, writing sales orders (S/O), P/R, coordinating and tracking product delivery, coordinating installation and training on equipment usage, visiting and building good relationships with customers, providing information, and solving initial operational problems for customers. 3. Product display: Preparing scientific products and equipment, coordinating with relevant departments, managing product displays, providing customer information, surveying customer needs with questionnaires, collecting and forwarding questionnaires to the relevant departments as per customer requirements, and continuously following up on sales. 4. Other tasks: Maintaining quality systems, participating in company activities as assigned, and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Male/Female, aged 22-35 years.
  2. BS/MS in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related Life Science field.
  3. Chromatography Knowledge: In-depth technical understanding of HPLC, GC, and hyphenated MS techniques (e.g., LC-MS, GC-MS).
  4. Experience: Prior hands-on experience operating or servicing chromatography instruments is highly preferred.
  5. Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to build and maintain long-lasting professional relationships with diverse stakeholders (scientists, procurement, lab management, executives).
  6. Market Insight: Familiarity with key chromatography markets (Pharma/Biotech, Environmental, F&B, Academic).
  7. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations and contract negotiation.
  8. Ability to speak, read, and write English well (Toeic/Toefl not mandatory).
  9. Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned sales territory.
