Job Description (JD) The Overseas Sales Manager will lead and develop the sales function for the Freight Forwarding division. This role focuses on expanding the company’s international customer base, particularly in the China market, while overseeing sales operations, customer relationships, and market development across multiple regions. The manager will also build and supervise a new sales team, working closely with the Customer Service department to support documentation and customer coordination. Job Responsibilities Plan, manage, and direct sales and marketing strategies to achieve international revenue and market share objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to adjust strategies as needed. Expand the customer base in Import–Export, Shipping, and Freight Forwarding. Control operational costs to maximize profitability. Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring strong performance and achieving assigned targets. Lead negotiations to maximize customer satisfaction and company benefits. Maintain strong relationships with international customers. Build networks with local and overseas agencies to strengthen global market presence. Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain information and resolve operational issues. Monitor progress, analyze performance outcomes, and report regularly to management. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Hours: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00 Manager level and above: Off every other SaturdayOther Allowances:Position Allowance / Special Position AllowanceHousing Allowance (for specific positions)Meal Allowance (for specific positions)Special Requirements (in addition to the JD): Interview ProcessRound 1:Phone screening interview to review candidate’s background.If qualified, the candidate meets with the Sales Manager.Round 2:Final interview with senior executives and related management team.
Qualifications
  1. Strong English communicationKnowledge of Freight Forwarding and import–export regulationsDirect experience in sales management in Logistics / Import–Export / Freight Forwarding (2–3 years minimum)Leadership experience (minimum 5 years in a supervisory or management role)
  2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations, including sea, air, and land transportation, and international customs regulations.
  3. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Import–Export, Shipping, or Freight Forwarding, especially in sales or marketing roles.
  4. Strong understanding of both domestic and international logistics markets, trends, and business opportunities.Ability to develop market strategies and expand customer base.
  5. Strong team management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and motivate staff.
  6. Data analysis skills to assess marketing performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  7. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  8. Strong networking ability and relationship-building with customers, partners, and shipping agents.Proficiency in English (TOEIC 550+); additional languages are an advantage.Ability to use logistics software such as TMS and shipment tracking systems.
  9. Knowledge of digital marketing tools (SEO, social media, email marketing).Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  10. Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments.
  11. Creativity in identifying opportunities to enhance services and differentiate the company.
  12. Key Requirements (Top Priority):Excellent English communication (speaking, reading, writing).
  13. Knowledge of Freight Forwarding and related import–export regulations.
  14. Direct sales management experience in Logistics / Import–Export / Freight Forwarding (2–3 years minimum).
  15. Age 30–45, male, or female, with at least 5 years of sales team management experience.
  16. Work CultureThe role is part of a newly established team separate from the existing Sales team.
  17. Supported by a dedicated Customer Service team for documentation and coordination.Oversees Sales Executives and Customer Service staff directly.
