Job Descriptions
• Develop, qualify, and conduct product and material testing to investigate design performance, support product development, standardization, and quality control. Analyze test results, prepare technical reports, and present findings to both local and international stakeholders. Recommend improvements to product design or test methodology and maintain proper documentation of test procedures and results.
• Coordinate and supervise laboratory maintenance activities, ensuring equipment is properly maintained, documented, and in a state of operational readiness, including post-calibration verification to confirm suitability for accurate testing.
• Prepare and manage experimental samples, test materials, and necessary accessories required for test programs and investigations.
• Initiate, design, build, procure, and commission new or improved test equipment, fixtures, and experimental systems. Prepare cost estimates and coordinate implementation.
• Investigate and solve technical problems related to testing processes and product performance, including defect analysis using quality engineering methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, FMEA, 8D), and propose practical solutions.
• Contribute to the deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, automation, robotics, automated data logging, and system integration. Leverage AI/ML Deep learning for advanced laboratory data analysis, trend monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive decision support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics, electrical, computer Engineering is preferred.
- 0-3 years of technical experience in an engineering test environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Hard Disk Drive Components/Operation helpful.
- Able to identify what data trends signify and provide insight on potential product design improvements.
- Familiarity with mechanical test systems such as Tensile Tests, Particle Quantification Tests, and Moisture Vapor Transmission Tests (RH Transfer) highly desirable.
- Proficient in using MS Office and Minitab for laboratory data processing, statistical analysis, and technical report preparation.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation, measurement principles, and sensor technologies for accurate test and data interpretation.
- Knowledge of calibration, verification, and metrology practices to ensure measurement reliability and equipment readiness.
- Familiarity with data logging system hardware, automation systems, test system schematics, and digital transformation technologies (e.g., IoT, system integration, automated data acquisition).
- Programming knowledge for instrument control and test automation is an advantage.
- Strong communication skill in both Thai and English
