Job Descriptions
1. Manage section of Packaging Design Team to accomplish assigned target within timeline and take accountability for unit target and team management.
2. Develop new package based on customer’s requirement and production method, from concept to commercialization.
3. Coordinate with related parties and cross-functional team (TH : CN : KR) on project update, feasibility and milestone to ensure on-time integration.
4. Liaise and source new PKG with packaging suppliers to meet customer needs; seek new suppliers and develop cosmetic PKG (Skin care, Make up).
5. Conduct supplier meeting and audit to ensure PKG in term of cost, quality, lead time and service.
6. Collaborate with Sales, Customer, SCM to find new PKG concepts, provide technical assessment, cost control and handle costing/pricing objections.
7. Detail design of components/products, create and manage packaging specifications including detailed PKG spec, standard sample and range board.
8. Negotiate price, lead time and related subjects to ensure project delivery meet standard cost, spec and timeline.
9. Control PKG project timeline, monitor efficiency, improve working process, conduct PKG database and report.
10. Provide solution for customer complaints, supplier control and resolve PKG issues with customers, suppliers, production and related parties.
11. Team management, Coaching & Mentoring and other jobs as assignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Technology, PKG Design, Polymer, Chemistry.
- 5 years experiences in PKG field and 2 years in management level.
- Experience in Cosmetic field.
- Knowledge: Packaging design process, PKG sourcing process, PKG technologies and specifications, Supplier management, PKG development.
- Skills: Negotiation and Communication, Computer literacy, Good command in English.
- Competency: Planning and Organizing, Team management, Conflict Management, Coaching and mentoring, Creativity and Enhancement.
