Job DescriptionsJob Objective
To plan, manage, and control accounting and financial operations at the factory level. The role is responsible for decision-making, providing guidance, problem-solving, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, excise tax accounting, general accounting, tax accounting, and accounting documentation, including coordination with related departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Accounting
- Establish policies, guidelines, and processes for inventory management systems.
- Perform monthly inventory closing and reconciliation.
- Review and verify reports related to inventory write-offs, destruction, or donations.
- Plan and oversee annual physical inventory counts.
- Prepare inventory balance reports for all categories and analyze variances.
2. Fixed Asset Accounting
- Plan and manage the annual fixed asset physical count program.
- Ensure fixed asset controls comply with company policies and internal control standards.
- Review monthly depreciation calculations.
- Review estimated depreciation calculations for annual budgeting purposes
3. Excise Tax Accounting
- Review and prepare documents for monthly excise tax filings and payments.
4. General Accounting & Tax
- Oversee general accounting and tax-related transactions to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure proper accounting documentation and records are maintained.
5. Management & Coordination
- Provide direction, recommendations, and solutions to operational and accounting issues.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external organizations to support factory financial operations.
