1、 1996-2010: Focused on Standardized Lens Manufacturing
Conant Optical, formerly known as Qitian Technology, was founded in Pudong, Shanghai in 1996, specializing in the production of standardized lenses with a strong emphasis on expanding into international markets. In 2006, the company established a lens manufacturing base in Qidong, Jiangsu, and founded Jiangsu Conant Optical Co., Ltd. In 2010, Conant USA was established to strengthen and expand its presence in the North American market.
2、2011-2017: Deepening Overseas Localization, Gradual Formation of Customization Capability
In 2011, the company launched a new one-stop customized lens service model, founded Jiangsu Conant Optical Eyewear Co., Ltd., and consolidated its domestic market presence. Conant Mexico was established to tap into the Central and South American markets. In 2013, the company acquired Japan’s Asahi Optical Co., Ltd., integrating cross-border production bases and achieving multi-site production coordination.
3、 2018-Present: Business Restructuring Completed, Lens Group Established
