The SAP PP Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of the SAP Sales and Distribution (PP) module within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with business users, cross-functional teams, and technical consultants to ensure SAP solutions effectively support sales, order management, pricing, billing, and logistics processes in alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
•SAP PP Implementation & Support Configure and implement SAP PP processes including: Sales Order Management Pricing and Conditions Shipping and Delivery Billing and Invoicing Credit Management Provide end-to-end support for SAP PP processes in a manufacturing setting.
•Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP PP solutions.
•Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms. Business Process Integration Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize order-to-cash (O2C) processes.
•Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules such as: MM (Materials Management) PP (Production Planning) FI/CO (Finance & Controlling) WM/EWM (Warehouse Management) Support sales forecasting, production planning alignment, and delivery scheduling.
•Testing & Deployment Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
•Support system go-live activities, data migration, and cutover planning.
•Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.
•User Support & Training Provide day-to-day system support and troubleshooting.
•Train end users and prepare user manuals and documentation.
•Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP PP-related inquiries.
•Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance business efficiency through SAP PP functionality. Support system upgrades, enhancements, and rollouts to new plants or regions.
•Ensure SAP solutions comply with internal controls and audit requirements.
