We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Merchandising Manager to oversee the planning and execution of our retail merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing product assortment, forecasting trends, managing inventory levels, and driving sales performance in alignment with brand goals and customer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement seasonal merchandising strategies that align with sales targets and brand positioning.
Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and inventory data to optimize product assortment and allocation across stores and online.
Collaborate with buying, planning, marketing, and store operations teams to ensure timely and effective product launches and promotions.
Manage pricing strategies, markdowns, and promotional plans to maximize profitability and minimize excess inventory.
Conduct regular store visits and competitor analysis to assess product performance and visual merchandising effectiveness.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment plans in collaboration with supply chain/logistics.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers or assistants to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of merchandising experience in a retail environment.
Proven track record of driving category performance, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience with merchandising tools and retail management systems (e.g., ERP, POS, planning software).
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
