Key Responsibilities
HSE Officer
•Completion of planned inspections of workplaces as per the site HSE activities schedule
•Inspect safety tools and equipment and make sure they are in operationally safe
•Implementation of Valentis HSE policies
•Promoting Zero Harm safety culture
•Send weekly updated registers to site HOD after reviewed by HSE Manager
•HSE monitoring on non-conformances such as alcohol test
•Drive Thailand OSHE compliance activities such as inspections and audits
•Investigation of all reported Incidents & closures of corrective actions
•Risk assessment at various critical jobs
•Review of site management plans and suggest changes based on site-related requirements and change.
•100% Hazard Reports recorded and actioned
•Conduct weekly safety meetings
•Conduct workshop and workplace inspections
•Communicate all approved Internal/external flash reports to employees
•Attending client HSE meetings as required
•Attending daily prestart or toolbox meetings
•Preparation of written HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance. (HSE reports, Monthly Safety Stats, safety Alerts, toolbox topics, etc.)
•Support any updated HSE documents from Corporate ensuring they are implemented into the SMS
•Maintain the country safety stats updated and send a fortnightly update to the HSE Manager
•Liaise and advise supervisors and coordinate periodic inspections and audit findings and corrective action and hazards are closed off
•Assist in the implementation of JSEA and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations
•Advise on hazards identification reports on site level to ground level employees
•Coaching others on the importance of safety especially zero harm
•Empower HSE Reps to work actively and participate on stopping dangerous work
•Drive the successful delivery of Valentis tools and programs to make a difference to project culture. For example, implement the use of “Take 5” as a tool, Hazard ID reporting, Field Task Observation, Rig Audit
•Monitoring workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with company policies
•Raising the level of OHSE culture by explaining concepts of delivering information and training
•Constant daily visits of work areas and advising workers of safe practices and stop any unsafe acts
