1. Ensuring the company complies with its outside regulatory requirements and internal policies
2. Must have a thorough knowledge of the company and an awareness where possible regulatory breaches may occur
3. Effectively communicates the company’s key ethics principles and compliance regulations
4. Work with business units and management to ensure appropriate contingency plans are in place that set guidelines on how to respond to a possible compliance breach
5. Manage master project schedule related to HR audits, reporting, findings/recommendations, corrective actions, and changes
6. Manage process to maintain HR policies in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
7. Facilitate cross functional teams, facilitated project meeting, develop and maintain project plans and manage/support solution implementations
8. Represent HR in investigation, compliant and disciplinary cases. In an event of a regulatory breach occurring, it is important for the compliance officer to have appropriate disciplinary measures in place to avoid a future recurrence
9. Design or update internal policies to mitigate the risk of the company breaking laws and regulations and lead internal audits of procedures.
