Role Summary:
We are hiring a Commodity Specialist with expertise in the aluminum or metals industry. This role will play a key part in interpreting market data, managing material sourcing strategies, and reducing procurement risks. You’ll work across departments to guide pricing decisions, ensure cost predictability, and contribute to sustainable business operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
📊 Market Monitoring & Forecasting
- Track and evaluate global trends in aluminum pricing, foreign exchange, and supply-demand shifts.
- Build and maintain data models to predict price movements and provide actionable intelligence to procurement and finance teams.
- Recommend procurement or hedging strategies based on market risks and economic indicators.
- Develop benchmarking tools and price impact models to support decision-making.
🤝 Commercial & Client Interface
- Partner with commercial teams to develop transparent, value-driven pricing proposals.
- Guide internal stakeholders and customers on pricing mechanisms linked to global indices.
- Ensure that cost strategies align with both company objectives and client expectations.
🛡️ Risk Mitigation & Regulatory Awareness
- Assess risks associated with geopolitical, economic, and policy changes that affect raw materials.
- Support strategic sourcing with alternate supplier evaluations or scenario planning.
- Maintain adherence to internal controls, audit standards, and industry guidelines.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in commodity pricing, procurement analytics, or trading (metal or packaging experience preferred)
- Familiarity with global markets, including LME and FX
- Strong command of Excel and data platforms such as Power BI or SQL
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to adapt in fast-changing market environments
