The main purpose of the role is to drive a consistent and more strategic approach towards all sourcing, purchasing, and tendering activities within the business, ultimately ensuring that value for cost-conscious, cost savings and money is maximized are generated. Support line manager to analyze and prepare all procurement data to align with business procedures and financial targets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and monitor Demand Planning data in order to enable capacity for sourcing execution
- Act as a point of contact with respect to sourcing policy and procedures
- Perform all purchasing activities including supplier comparison, preparing PO/ PO document, review contracts and claims, logistic management compliance with company procedure and policy
- Access and issue PO in ERP system
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders according to the company's standard processes
- Facilitate bids, analysis, and negotiations for goods and services
- Develop an understanding and acknowledge of local and aboard supplies' regulations
- Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure continuity of goods and services that meet the quality, service, and price performance standards of the company
- Analyze purchasing data and provide reports to supervisor as requested
- Perform other related duties as assigned
