Responsibilities
Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges.
Translate business problems into well-defined data science solutions with measurable objectives and deliverables.
Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques on large and complex tabular data and draw insights with actionable recommendations.
Work with business, engineering and risk management teams to implement end-to-end process from model development to testing, validation, deployment and lifecycle support.
Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Research, study and develop new tools and new frameworks to enhance our data science capabilities and drive our customers’ data mindset and strategy.
Discover and harness new ideas to fertilize new discoveries that can make a difference.
Exhibit self-initiative do explore data analysis and formulate hypotheses to understand data.
Define performance and data drift metrics to support the product team in determining when to retrain and tune statistical models.
Write comprehensive documents at each step to ensure that other team members can reuse the knowledge.
Assist other developers to validate correctness of transformed data to ensure output data is of high quality.
Assist quality assurance (QA) team with UAT testing (if required)
Create or update metadata (Business, Technical, Dataset) in accordance with standard specified by Data Governance and project team. This includes writing attribute business name and business definition.
Identify Critical Data Element (CDE) for data quality monitoring purposes. Create and review data quality rules with Data Quality team.
Derive business implication and/or actionable recommendations from the findings.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- Open-minded customer focused quick learner with strong analytical problem-solving capabilities and desire to explore and keep up with the latest technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or other areas that are highly quantitative.
- Knowledge in probability, statistics and machine learning applied to tabular data.
- Hands-on experience as a data scientist, statistician or machine learning engineer.
- Excellent proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands on experience with frameworks like scikit-learn, pandas, Spark MLlib or others.
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate back to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication with professional level Thai and English, both verbal and written.
- Independent as well as great team player and interpersonal skills.
