1.Pre-Development and Approvals.
- Land & Contracts: Conduct site inspections and evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of potential locations. Support commercial teams in reviewing technical clauses in lease or land purchase agreements.
- Power Approvals: Serve as the primary technical liaison with Thailand’s Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), and Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). Lead the entire process for power connection applications, capacity expansion approvals, and grid interconnection agreements.
- Government Permits: Apply for all required construction and operational permits from regulatory bodies such as the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), ensuring full compliance with Thai regulations including the Power Development Plan (PDP).
2. Design and Engineering Management.
- System Design: Develop technical specifications to support procurement and tendering processes.
- Project Control: Prepare detailed project plans and budgets, and monitor progress and costs throughout the project lifecycle. Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
3. Construction and Commissioning.
- On-site Supervision: Oversee equipment installation, system commissioning, and integrated system testing to ensure adherence to technical specifications.
- Testing and Handover: Organize and execute final acceptance tests (FAT & SAT) and manage project handover upon successful completion.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- Required: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Thailand or Southeast Asia, covering the full lifecycle development and implementation of EV charging stations, photovoltaic (PV) power plants, or similar power infrastructure projects. Must be fully capable of independently interpreting architectural drawings
- Strongly Preferred: Demonstrated success in independently managing the end-to-end government approval and utility application processes for at least 1–2 charging station projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in electrical system design, with solid knowledge of AC/DC charging technologies and relevant standards.
- In-depth understanding of Thailand’s electricity regulatory framework, building codes, and safety standards (e.g., TIS).
- Fully fluent in reading architectural drawings—including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, legends, and annotation systems.
- Familiarity with local Thai drafting standards and construction practices, including the ability to interpret notes on materials, workmanship, and regulatory compliance on drawings.
- Skilled in using design software such as AutoCAD and project management tools.
- Preferred Credential: Holds a valid Electrician License issued by Thailand’s Ministry of Labour.
- Exceptional Communication and Coordination Skills: Ability to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders, including government agencies (PEA/MEA/ERC), contractors, and internal teams.
- Strong Project Management Capabilities: Proven track record in cost control, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- This position doesn't emphasize language skills, but rather focuses on work experience.
