Job Summary
The Production Planning Specialist is responsible for developing and managing production plans to ensure on-time delivery, optimal inventory levels, and efficient utilization of manufacturing capacity. This role works closely with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to balance demand and supply while supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop short-term and long-term production plans based on customer forecasts and confirmed orders
2. Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service to analyze demand fluctuations
3. Monitor production capacity, manpower, and machine loading to ensure optimal utilization
4. Manage material requirements planning (MRP) and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely material availability
5. Control inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
6. Track production progress and adjust schedules in case of delays or urgent changes
7. Prepare production reports, KPI analysis, and capacity planning reports
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years experience in Production Planning / Supply Chain / Manufacturing environment (Automotive industry preferred)
- Experience with ERP system (SAP preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Good command of English (Chinese language is a plus)
