Job Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to overseas customers, including technical issue resolution, manufacturability assessment, and cost estimation based on product drawings.
- Develop, qualify, and continuously audit new and existing suppliers to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Solicit and analyze supplier quotations; prepare competitive quotations for international customers in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate new business development activities and project execution.
- Lead production process planning, cycle time estimation, and cost control initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing equipment design and process optimization at supplier facilities.
- Analyze and resolve product anomalies during pilot and mass production; manage PPAP submissions and 8D reports as required.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the company’s Quality Management System.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supplier development, manufacturing engineering, or technical sales in an OEM/precision machining environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and determine appropriate manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, casting, injection molding).
- Solid understanding of production cost drivers, process planning, and labor time estimation.
- Hands on experience with PPAP, 8D problem solving, and quality management systems (ISO 9001/IATF 16949 or equivalent).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally to supplier sites (~25%).
