Manage daily operation of all QA laboratories:
Physical Lab (HATS, RST, reliability test)
FA Lab (failure analysis, microsection support)
Calibration Lab (equipment control)
PCM Lab (process monitoring)
Flatness Test Lab (Shadow Moiré)
Ensure lab capacity, resource planning, and priority alignment with production and customer needs
Maintain lab discipline, 6S, and audit readiness at all times
🔹 2. Reliability Testing & Failure Analysis
Oversee reliability testing:
HATS, RST, Thermal Cycling, Environmental tests
Analyze test results and identify abnormal trends
Lead failure analysis activities:
Correlate electrical failure with physical defects (crack, void, interface issue)
Support root cause identification and corrective action
Drive improvement actions based on FA findings
🔹 3. Calibration & Measurement System Control
Control calibration system for all lab equipment
Ensure compliance with:
Calibration plan / schedule
Traceability requirements
Lead MSA / Gage R&R studies for critical measurement systems
Monitor measurement stability, accuracy, and repeatability
🔹 4. Process Control Monitoring (PCM)
Implement and control PCM activities across processes
Ensure all Control Plan (CP) items are executed and recorded
Monitor SPC data, analyze trends, and identify risks
Drive corrective actions when out-of-control or abnormal trends occur
Support ERP/PAD system integration for PCM data tracking
🔹 5. Quality System & Audit
Ensure compliance with:
APQP (FMEA, CP, SPC, MSA, PPAP)
ISO / VDA / IPC standards
Support customer audits and internal audits
Prepare technical data, reports, and evidence for audit review
Translate customer requirements into internal execution
🔹 6. DOE & Continuous Improvement
Lead DOE (Design of Experiment) activities for process optimization
Apply Six Sigma methodology for problem solving
Evaluate effectiveness of improvement actions using statistical analysis
🔹 etc.
