Work at Singapore International School of Bangkok Reporting to the Senior Nurse, this is an important role providing basic nursing and first aid emergency care to students, staff, parents and other visitors to the school in addition to holding responsibility for stock keeping of medical supplies and first aid equipment. Key responsibilities: – Liaise with parents regarding the administering of medications to students taken ill whilst under the school’s care. – Dispense medicines to young students, according to their needs and medical requirement. – Maintain stock of medicines and first aid equipment and regular stock checks. – Input and maintain medical records of students and provide reports for student field trips and other purposes as required. – Accompany students on school trips when required and arrange first aid equipment for accompanying nurse and teachers. – Prepare properly approved letters on behalf of the school and coordinate with local hospitals to facilitate the admission of emergency cases from the school. Additional duties include health screening for students, preparing CPR training

Qualifications

Holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Qualified Nurse (must be Registered with Thai Nursing Council) wiith 1-2 year experience working with a hospital and/or clinic.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to use initiative and work independently.
Good administrative skills and computer literacy.
Good command of spoken and written English preferred.
