Job DescriptionsJob Purpose :
As a People Development Intern, you will support the factory’s capability-building initiatives by assisting in training coordination, skill tracking, and continuous improvement activities. This internship offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and exposure to Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS), safety and quality standards, and people development strategies.
Main Responsibilities :
•Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions for shopfloor employees (e.g., operators, apprentices)
•Support the development and maintenance of training materials and logistics (e.g., scheduling rooms, preparing handouts)
•Help maintain accurate training records and documentation
•Assist in updating skill matrices and tracking employee skill progression
•Participate in technical skill assessments and data collection
•Collaborate with line managers and team leaders to schedule and promote training programs
•Support UMS-related workshops and continuous improvement activities
•Contribute to People Development Pillar activities and internal audits
•Learn and apply basic concepts of Lean, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies
