Job Descriptions• Develop, implement, and manage QHES policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify potential safety and environmental risks.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant QHES regulations and standards in the oil and gas industry.
• Lead and conduct safety inspections, audits, and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Develop and deliver HES training programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Foster a strong safety culture by promoting awareness, engagement, and accountability.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive measures.
• Prepare and maintain QHES reports, documentation, and records for internal and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, industry bodies, and clients to ensure best practices are implemented.
• Implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
• Support sustainability initiatives, environmental management programs, and waste reduction strategies.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001) within the organization to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in HES management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of HES regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., OSHA,ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
