Job Descriptions
•Operate refining equipment (melting furnace, induction machines, chemical baths) to purify gold and other precious metals. •Analyze gold content in materials using fire assay, XRF, or other methods. •Record weights, purity, losses, and yields of each refining batch with accuracy. •Handle scrap gold, dust, and residue responsibly to minimize metal loss. •Follow all safety procedures when working with high temperatures and chemicals (e.g. acids, flux). •Maintain cleanliness of refining area and ensure proper waste disposal. •Collaborate with QA, Casting, and Inventory teams to meet production timelines. •Conduct regular equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions. •Ensure compliance with company policies regarding precious metal handling and security.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or vocational certificate in metallurgy, chemistry, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in a gold refinery or precious metal processing environment (preferred).
  3. Basic understanding of chemical processes used in refining gold.
  4. Strong attention to detail and high integrity in handling valuable materials.
  5. Ability to operate furnaces, casting machines, and lab testing tools.
  6. Knowledge of workplace safety and environmental regulations.
