Job Descriptions
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for BYD and DENZA, aligning with global/regional brand guidelines and local market needs. Plan annual and quarterly marketing calendars, campaigns, and initiatives across digital, traditional, PR, and event channels. 2. Brand Management & Localization Strengthen the unique brand identities of BYD (tech-driven, eco-friendly, future-focused) and DENZA (premium, smart, exclusive) in Thailand. Guide the General Distributor in localizing brand messaging and materials to resonate with Thai consumers while ensuring global consistency. 3. Distributor Collaboration & Oversight Act as the main marketing liaison between BYD Thailand and the General Distributor. Lead joint planning, offer strategic guidance, and ensure alignment with brand standards and KPIs. Regularly review performance and provide actionable feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 4. Campaign Execution & Management Oversee end-to-end execution of all campaigns, including product launches, motor shows, roadshows, pop-up events, digital activations, and PR initiatives. Collaborate closely with the distributor to ensure creative, sales-focused campaigns with high-quality outcomes. 5. Digital Marketing & Social Media Define and manage digital strategies, including social media content, paid media, SEO/SEM, and CRM integration for lead generation. Monitor trends and optimize for engagement and conversion. 6. Public & Media Relations Create and implement PR strategies to elevate brand reputation and secure media coverage. Manage media relations, including press releases, outreach, conferences, and crisis communication. 7. Budget & Performance Management Co-plan and manage the annual marketing budget with the distributor, focusing on ROI and efficiency. Set clear KPIs, track performance, analyze results, and report to regional/global teams.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership/management role within the automotive industry (New Energy Vehicle experience highly preferred).
  2. Proven track record in brand management, event management, public relations, and digital marketing.
  3. Essential: Demonstrated experience working effectively and collaboratively with distributors, franchisees, or external partners to achieve marketing objectives.
  4. Experience in the Thai market and understanding of local consumer behavior and media landscape is crucial.
  5. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  6. Strategic leadership, cross-functional team management, stakeholder influence, project execution, data-driven marketing, digital expertise (SEO, social, CRM), and crisis communication.
  7. Fluent in both Thai and English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage.
