Job DescriptionsMajor Tasks:
Develop and maintain plant environmental and safety procedures in accordance with Thai regulations and international standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Inspect and recommend compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental laws (e.g., noise, chemical, air quality, lighting, confined space, ventilation).
2. Assist departments by coordinating external safety training.
3. Serve as Safety Committee Secretary, providing expertise and developing safety training materials.
4. Investigate and report on accidents, illnesses, or annoyances, recommending prompt resolutions to management.
5. Conduct and supervise site inspections, job hazard analyses, and other evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards. Implement corrective actions and audit for compliance.
6. Collect, analyze, and maintain data for effective safety and environmental programs.
7. Develop employee fire prevention programs, including evacuation procedures, and manage annual fire extinguisher maintenance.
8. Review labeling and ensure safe, clearly designated, and secured storage for flammable liquids and gas containers.
9. Conduct monthly on-site inspections for clear fire lanes, compliant material storage, and proper storage of flammable/combustible liquids.
10. Confirm contractors provide Fire Watch personnel for hot work, continuing for 15-30 minutes post-completion.
11. Recommend Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety guards to reduce unsafe acts and conditions.
12. Implement and manage the environmental management system, including waste management contracts and hazardous waste coordination.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
