Job DescriptionsKey Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for store-level and corporate roles.
- Develop talent pipeline for high-turnover retail positions.
- Manage onboarding and orientation to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
2. Workforce Planning & Scheduling
- Partner with Store Managers to forecast headcount needs and optimize shift scheduling.
- Monitor labor costs and productivity KPIs across stores.
3. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Develop and execute employee engagement programs tailored to retail staff.
- Lead initiatives to reduce turnover and improve employee morale.
- Manage exit interviews and analyze reasons for attrition.
4. Performance Management
- Implement and maintain performance appraisal systems for retail staff.
- Coach Store Managers and Supervisors in managing performance, setting KPIs, and giving feedback.
5. Training & Development
- Oversee training programs for retail roles (e.g., sales, cashier, customer service).
- Collaborate with L&D to design and deliver retail-specific development programs.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure accurate employee records, timekeeping, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and health & safety standards.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and legal manner.
7. Strategic HR Projects
- Lead or support retail-focused HR initiatives such as incentive programs, restructuring, or digital HR tools (e.g., HRIS, scheduling apps).
- Support culture building aligned with the brand's identity and service values.
