Job Descriptions1.Lean Program Development
oDesign and implement a Lean roadmap specifically aligned with crash helmet production workflows, including molding, painting, assembly, and testing.
oEliminate waste in processes such as helmet shell forming, vent integration, padding installation, and packaging.
2.Continuous Improvement Leadership
oLead continuous improvement events (Kaizen) focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
oApply SMED to reduce changeover times between helmet models and colors.
3.Standardization and Training
oDevelop and enforce standard work across all helmet production lines.
oTrain employees at all levels in Lean tools with a focus on defect prevention, cycle time reduction, and layout optimization.
4.Data-Driven Improvements
oAnalyse production metrics (OEE, first-pass yield, scrap rate) to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
oWork closely with Quality to reduce warranty claims, rework, and customer complaints.
5.Cross-Functional Collaboration
oCollaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles are embedded early.
oSupport production during new product introductions (NPI) and model transitions.
6.Sustainability and Culture
oFoster a Lean culture where operators actively contribute to daily improvements.
oImplement visual management and daily accountability boards on the shop floor.
Qualifications - Male or Female
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt minimum, Black Belt preferred).
- Additional training in ISO standards or quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of Lean methodologies: 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), SMED, Poka-Yoke, Visual Management, Kanban, Standard Work and Line Balancing.
- Understanding of crash helmet production techniques: shell forming, foam molding, painting, decals, final assembly, and quality inspection.
- Familiarity with OEE, takt time, cycle time, defect tracking, and ergonomic workstation design.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and shop-floor data collection tools.
- Ability to use MS Office (especially Excel), Visio, and statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP).
- Strong leadership with a hands-on, shop-floor presence.
- A proactive and persistent problem-solver with a passion for operational excellence.
- Strong English language skills with the ability to communicate clearly in reports and effectively align with global priorities.
