Job Descriptions

The Design Engineer is responsible for providing mechanical design and project engineering of pressure equipment by applying expert knowledge and experience in regulations, pressure vessel code and standards. 1. Performing design calculations for pressure vessels (ASME VIII Div 1) and creating full mechanical design calculation reports (Compress or PV Elite design software experience valued) 2. Providing inputs for FEA analysis and interpreting analysis results for design changes as required 3. Attaining external party approval of designs when required 4. Creating component and assembly models based on technical specifications (Autodesk Inventor) 5. Review of drawings to ensure compliance to client specifications, engineering standards and relevant codes and regulations 6. Preparing technical documents and ensuring change management and document control processes are followed 7. Produce project bill of materials 8. Procure and expedite materials as required for fabrication 9. Work in a collaborative manner and participate in design and fabrication process by supporting Mechanical Drafters, Production and Quality Control, contributing ideas and information as required 10. Timely production of work and management of project schedules for on-time delivery

Qualifications

Male/Female, age 23-45 years old
Bachelor's degree of Mechanical Engineering or Relate
Advanced Conversational middle level of English
Using experience of Auto CAD, Autodesk Inventor, tools and standard software
Knowledge of ASME VIII Div 1
