Job Descriptions
What you will do
- Ensures that environment in the company complies with the most up-to-date Environment & Safety Law.
- Performs environmental assessment on company's environment related activities such as importing hazardous chemicals.
- Manages Hazardous Waste, Industrial Waste, General Waste, Infectious Waste and contacts Department of Industrial Works to request permission for waste disposal outside the plant.
- Initiates EHS reports about waste and chemical usage and submits to superiors, EHS director and external organization.
- Contacts public and private sectors to request permission for safety and environmental operations.
- Trains new employees about company's safety and environmental regulations. Develops safety and environment training and onboarding materials.
- Cooperates with second party and third party site audit panel.
- Supervises security guards' tasks.
- Initiates environmental procedures and implements plant-wide.
- Checks the stability for basic public utility such as fire protection equipment.
- Supports ISO45001: 2018 execution and deployment across JCH-TH.
- Manages hazardous materials and chemicals.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by HR manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public and Environmental Health or related fields.
- 1-5 year working experience as an environmental officer.
- A strong leader able to work well under pressure.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skill.
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
- Good command of English language is preferred.
- Certified as Hazardous Material Controller is a plus
