Job Descriptions
•Translate written or spoken material from English to Thai language and vice-versa while maintaining the original meaning, format, and tone
•Translate spoken language from English to Thai language and vice-versa during courses, events, meetings and phone calls.
•Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and contextually correct.
•Proofread and edit translations for clarity, phrasing, text-breaking, and choice of words accuracy, and fluency and style.
•Facilitate communication and understanding between English and Thai speakers
Qualifications
- Thai Citizen
- Bachelor Degree in English Language, Linguistics or related field
- Proven experience as a translator in a commercial setting, for both face-to-face, and text-based
- Excellent writing skills in both Thai and English
- Proficiency in MS Office
