Job Descriptions
1.Product quality inspection and measurement
・Product dimensional and appearance inspection using various measuring instruments (micrometers, image measuring instruments)
・Recording and analysis of measurement results, and comparison with standards
2.Creating and managing quality records
・Preparation of inspection data, quality control charts, and reports
・Record keeping to ensure traceability
3.Dealing with defective products and analyzing causes
・Identifying and isolating defective items
・Analysis of causes and proposal/implementation of corrective measures
4.External and customer audit support
・Writing and responding to inquiries regarding obtaining and maintaining certifications such as ISO
・Responding to quality audits by customers and preparing necessary documents
5.Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
・Follow superior instruction for irregular work even if the work is not related with QA/QC matters.
・Build good teamwork and smooth communication, with customers, suppliers and internal employees.
・Improvement (KAIZEN) activity for routine work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related field
- English or Japanese language: possible to communicate with Japanese staff
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in quality inspection or related roles
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work under pressure and collaborate with cross-functional teams
