Job Descriptions

•Plans / Defines the design deliverables (referring to the contract), design sequencing & stages •Defines production schedule & personnel requirements (with Planner, input from Design Coord.) •Plans, checks, monitors & reports on design progress (with Planner, input from Design Coord.) •Oversees design efficiency and hours utilisation. •Set freeze dates and major revision issue dates (e.g. 30%/IFD, 60%, 90%/IFT, IFC) •Revision control management is properly executed (incl. drawings statusing, rack mgt etc…)

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering •At least 10 years of design and co-ordination experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, PDF document generation and management.
Technical knowledge and understanding of Engineering Design and Construction
Technical knowledge and understanding of project execution processes in a fast track environment.
Extensive knowledge of local code of practice for design implementation
Extensive local construction knowledge
Undertake the assigned work scope in a professional and responsible manner
Protect the interest of the company
Fully awareness of his / her scope of work and the extent of the obligations of M+W
Ad hoc duties as determined by management
