Job Descriptions

•Lead and manage the pastry team in daily operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence. •Design and develop innovative dessert menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and seasonal ingredients. •Oversee the preparation and presentation of all pastry items to ensure consistency and quality. •Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage cost control for the pastry section. •Train, mentor, and evaluate pastry staff to maintain high performance and morale. •Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. •Collaborate with other kitchen departments to coordinate service and menu planning. •Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training in pastry arts.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, chocolate work, sugar art, and plated desserts.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Creative mindset with attention to detail and presentation.
