Technical Sales Representative (Paper & Packaging Industry)

Job Descriptions
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and acquire new clients while maintaining relationships with existing customers in industries such as printing, box manufacturing, paper, corrugated boxes, printing, publishing.
Analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions (e.g., kraft paper, corrugated boxes, flexible packaging films).
Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet sales targets.
2. Technical Consultation
Provide expertise on material specifications (grammage, strength, coatings) and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with R&D/production teams to design cost-effective packaging solutions.
Troubleshoot issues (e.g., optimizing paper grades for durability or printability).
3. Account Management
Build long-term client relationships and monitor market trends/competitor activities.
Manage payment follow-ups and resolve customer complaints.
4. Reporting & Strategy
Submit regular sales reports, project updates, and competitor analyses.
Develop monthly/quarterly sales strategies to expand market share.
Work Conditions
Type: Hybrid (office/field)
Working Hour: 8:00-17:00 (Mon - Fri)
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial, Chemical, Materials Science), Business, or related fields.
- Experience: 2–5 years in technical sales/B2B roles within paper, packaging, or printing industries.
- Knowledge of paper/packaging production (e.g., corrugation, laminating).
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (if required).
- Preferred: Familiarity with packaging design tools (e.g., CAD, Adobe Illustrator).
