Job Description: As a Junior Backend Developer at Sasom, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our backend services. You will collaborate with a team of talented developers to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend solutions that support our web and mobile platforms. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, helping us to deliver a product that meets the high standards our customers expect. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our serverless backend architecture on AWS Lambda, written in Node.js. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. Assist in the management and optimization of our Firestore database, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. Participate in the development of APIs and microservices to support web and mobile application functionalities. Implement code tests to guarantee the quality and reliability of our backend services. Monitor, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues within the backend infrastructure. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into our development process. Nice to Have: Experience with React or React Native is a plus. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, such as Git. Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for Node.js.

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Up to 1 year of experience in backend development, including internships or personal projects.
  3. Proficiency in Node.js and familiarity with AWS services, especially AWS Lambda.
  4. Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Firestore, and an understanding of database design and management.
  5. Basic knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud computing concepts.
  6. Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
  7. A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
