The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth and market expansion within the education sector, specifically focusing on exam preparation tutorial services and representing the organization as the ETS Authorized Provider of TOEFL Primary and TOEFL Junior in Thailand. Their primary objective is to identify and pursue new market opportunities, particularly within local schools and institutions, to promote and administer TOEFL Primary and TOEFL Junior tests. Additionally, they are tasked with increasing the overall revenue of all center(s) operated by the organization.
Due to space limitations, only core responsibilities are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list, and additional duties may be assigned as needed. A detailed job scope will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
1. Strategic Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the organization's market presence and revenue streams as the Thailand representative of ETS.
- Identify and prioritize target markets, with a particular focus on local schools and educational institutions, to promote TOEFL Primary and TOEFL Junior tests.
- Develop strategies to enhance the overall revenue of teaching center(s) operated by the organization.
- Identify opportunities to expand the range of services offered by teaching center(s) to attract more students and increase revenue.
2. Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Prospect and engage with local schools, educational institutions, and other potential clients to promote TOEFL Primary and TOEFL Junior tests.
- Conduct sales presentations and consultations to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
