Job Summary & Purpose: The purpose of this position is to consult, advise, monitor and follow-up with the Operations team to sell Fish products while giving exceptional customer service. This person will be responsible for training, coaching, and advising the Fresh Food Operations team in the Fish & Seafood area (the entire value chain from receiving/cutting/display to selling out). Principal Accountabilities: 1.Provide product expertise for all aspects of Fish Product including product knowledge that is suitable for each customer segmentation e.g., Asian food/Western food etc., market information and service to Operations Team. 2.Monitor, follow-up and consult with Operations Team on the quality and freshness of Fish products, including product display. 3.Collaborate with Commercial to identify standard Fish production (standard estimated yield / estimated shrinkage). 4.Advise the store staff to ensure the Fish & Seafood area meets hygiene standards across the whole value chain, from receiving to selling. 5.Teach, coach, and educate the Fresh Food operations team but also internal CFW team across function and external parties (e.g., customers) on in-dept Fish & Seafood product knowledge & handling.

High School diploma in food science or equivalent required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail supermarket, preferably in the fresh department, with equivalent food service experience.
Strong product knowledge of Fish products.
Enjoys and has experience preparing, cooking and cleaning a variety of Fresh Food products
Consultative selling skills are preferred
Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills to communicate and manage diverse groups of people effectively and efficiently.
Have Training and facilitating skills. Be confident to deliver training/ sharing sessions with effective training methods e.g. classroom/ workshop.
Identify team’s skill gap. Coaching and mentoring to help them develop their skills and abilities.
