The role also demands a strong grasp of laws governing private international education, regulations for foreign teachers and foreign labour, and staff employment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Government Liaison & Compliance:
– Act as the primary point of contact for all communications and coordination with Thai government agencies.
– Manage the end-to-end process for teaching licenses, visa applications, and work permit applications and extensions for foreign staff.
– Prepare, submit, track, and receive official government correspondence and documentation.
– Ensure the school’s full compliance with relevant Thai laws and regulations pertaining to private international education, foreign teachers, and foreign labor.
Administrative Support:
Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the school Director. Maintain organized and accurate records, especially related to student registration and HR data. Assist with various human resources functions and programs, including but not limited to, new hire onboarding support, maintaining employee records, and supporting HR initiatives.
Operational Support:
Utilize digital tools, platforms, computers, and Google Workspace (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar) proficiently to enhance efficiency and communication. Support school-wide programs and initiatives as required. Required Technical/Functional Knowledge & Skills
