รายละเอียดงานThe QA/QC Lead for turnarounds is responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance and control systems and ensuring all work meets Covestro's quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry specifications.
Scoping/ Planning Phase
•Develop the QA/QC concept with initial focus on long-lead materials, equipment, and services.
•Create TA quality assurance and verification plans that follow established quality processes.
•Define quality objectives specific to the turnaround.
•Identify resource requirements to ensure availability throughout the TA execution.
•Establish quality control checkpoints for all critical processes.
Implementation Phase
•Develop and maintain data storage systems to record all quality assurance data.
•Create tracking systems for monitoring quality inspection points and work status.
•Coordinate with procurement to align RFQs with QA concepts.
•Verify contractor qualifications and skills through training and testing.
•Establish clear workflows and procedures to ensure high planning and execution quality.
Quality Control Areas
•Review and verify work-packs and system packs
•Inspect fabricated materials and ordered spare parts.
•Oversee flange management, gasket installation, and torquing procedures.
•Supervise cleaning processes and standards.
•Manage Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
•Verify contractor skills qualifications.
•Monitor offsite work quality.
•Oversee tagging systems and blinding procedures.
Documentation & Reporting
•Ensure proper documentation of all quality processes.
•Maintain calibration records and labeling systems.
•Track and document deviations from standards.
•Report quality metrics and issues to the TA Manager.
•Ensure compliance with local, governmental, and company regulations.
Accountability Structure
•Reports directly to the TA Manager.
•Works closely with TAM Manager, Procurement lead, and HSE Lead, TA Construction manager
