Job Summary Enhance manufacturing by assuring that the process tooling, documentation, and equipment is set up for optimum safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirements. Provide technical support to analyze and develop manufacturing control systems. Interface with Advanced Manufacturing, Quality, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, and Operations to ensure successful New Product Launch events and drive day to day improvements for current production. Develop LEAN initiatives to drive manufacturing efficiency improvements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Job Responsibilities: -Supervises and support work group advisors, engineers, maintenance, and operators in the development of tools, fixtures, and machines to support existing/new product and process design and solve complex product and process issues. -Implements JIT and Lean Manufacturing principles (5s, Six Sigma, CI system, etc.) -Analyze and resolve process-related problems such as adhesion failure, cratering, uneven coverage, color inconsistency and cosmetics. -Oversee and continuously improve pretreatment and powder coating processes to meet quality, safety, and cost targets to ensure continuous improvement, world-class-level quality, and a high-performance work environment. -Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard work instructions, control plans, and parameter settings follow Harley-Davidson's standards. -Monitor and control key process parameters (e.g., temperature, film thickness, curing time) using tools like SPC and FMEA. -Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone,..). -Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and company standards, particularly for chemical handling and powder spray systems.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
  2. 3-5 years of experience in powder coating and pretreatment process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  3. Solid knowledge of surface treatment (degreasing, phosphate, etc.) /RO water plant and powder coating application systems (manual & automatic).
  4. Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
  5. Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  6. Experience with robotic powder coating, electrostatic spray guns, or PLC-controlled systems.
  7. Knowledge of environmental compliance related to paint emissions and waste treatment.
  8. Detail process planning including shop capacity planning, work standard development, operator and equipment utilization, ergonomics, APQP, PFMEA, control plan, standard work, IPPAP, tooling, and fixturing.
  9. Knowledge of process control and quality assurance, SPC, and process capability, documentation/information using CAD, Network/software, and PC applications.
  10. Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and their relationship to company policies, procedures, and instructions.
  11. Experience with formal problem-solving methodology such as PPS, CAR, etc.
  12. Demonstrated project management skills.
