2. Perform business environment analyses such as PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, and SWOT—especially within the EAF-based rebar and hot-rolled structural steel market, as well as cold-formed steel products—to identify opportunities and challenges.
3. Conduct in-depth competitor analysis on aspects such as production strategies, marketing, pricing, technology (EAF), and investment approaches
4. Collaborate with executives and cross-functional units to review and refine the company’s vision, mission, core values, and strategic objectives.
5. Assist in the development of mid- to long-term strategic plans (e.g., 3- to 5-year plans), as well as annual operational action plans aligned with corporate goals.
6. Help define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and corporate targets for strategic initiatives.
7. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of strategic initiatives across departments on a regular basis.
8. Develop performance tracking and evaluation reports, including key issues and recommendations for improvement.
9. Review and update strategic plans as needed in response to shifts in the business or steel market landscape.
10. Lead or participate in special projects related to business expansion, new investments (e.g., productivity enhancement, new product development), process improvements, or feasibility studies.
11. Conduct research on emerging business opportunities to enhance organizational competitiveness and sustainability.
12. Coordinate closely with all departments (e.g., production, sales and marketing, finance, R&D) to ensure strategic plans are effectively communicated and implemented.
13. Serve as an internal strategy advisor to departments developing their own functional plans.
