We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the analysis, design, and detailing of structural systems for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and material behavior, with a focus on delivering safe, efficient, and constructible designs. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you excel in this role. 1. Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and/or infrastructure projects (Mostly timber and reinforced concrete design) using hand calculations and specialized software. 2. Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports. 3. Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, other engineers, and clients to integrate structural designs with overall project requirements. 4. Review and interpret architectural and other engineering drawings and specifications. 5. Ensure all designs comply with project specific, local, national, international building codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NDS, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, IBC, and AWS D1.1.). 6. Identify and mitigate potential structural risks and propose innovative solutions. 7. Stay abreast of new technologies, materials, and industry best practices in structural engineering. 8. Others as required.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
  1. Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
  2. Up to 3 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design. Newly graduated individuals are welcome to apply, and training will be provided.
  3. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RISA, MIDAS, and AutoCAD).
  4. Strong understanding of structural mechanics, material properties (timber, concrete, steel, masonry)
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical information. English is a main language used in the work environment.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Familiar with American design standards and codes (e.g., NDS, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, IBC, and AWS D1.1.)
