Job Purpose This Junior Mechanical Engineer will support the mechanical design and development of mission-critical infrastructure projects, including data centers and telecommunications facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality, efficient, and sustainable mechanical solutions that meet both client and industry standards. A background in a consultancy company is considered an advantage. Experience in data centers is also a plus. Key Responsibilities & accountabilities •Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of HVAC, cooling systems, and mechanical infrastructure for data centres and IT facilities. •Conduct thermal load calculations, airflow analysis, and energy efficiency assessments to optimize mechanical systems. •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, architects, and project managers, to integrate mechanical solutions into overall project designs. •Support the selection and specification of mechanical equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and CRAC/CRAH units. •Assist in reviewing technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. •Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to verify installation and performance. •Contribute to sustainability and renewable energy initiatives, ensuring designs align with energy efficiency and environmental goals. •Research and stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering for data centres.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
  1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  2. 1–3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in data centres, HVAC, or building services.
  3. Background in a consultancy company is an added advantage.
  4. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling technologies, and thermodynamics.
  5. Familiarity with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, CFD tools, or similar.
  6. Understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO, Uptime Institute).
  7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  9. Proficiency in both Thai and English – spoken and written – is required.
  10. Willingness to travel for site visits and inspections when required.
