Job Descriptions
Job Summary:
A System Administrator will be responsible for supporting equipment from design through implementation and support. A System Administrator performs a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading servers and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment. A system Administrator provides investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software, infrastructure and research of new projects. S/he will learn and apply her/his expertise and knowledge in finding suitable technology for responsible projects or systems such as DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC).
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
•Complete configuration, installation and system support in open sources environment.
•Manage network system and server for excellent performance and stability
•Maintaining software applications, operation systems.
•Backup data and system state of any server for prevention of data corruption
•Testing and evaluating new technologies
•Recommend the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications
•Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
•Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
•Research and implement new systems and technologies.
•Other assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Thai Nationality
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields
- Experience in UNIX and Network device
- Knowledge of programming, e.g. Perl, PHP, Shell Script
- Fair command of English Communication
- Must be able to work under pressure
