Job Descriptions

1. Skillfully and accurately portion, cut, trim, and debone meat products according to customer preferences and specifications. 2. Prepare specialty cuts, such as steaks, roasts, chops, and ground meats, using proper techniques. 3.Provide excellent customer service by offering product recommendations, answering customer questions, and addressing their specific requests. 4. Educate customers about different meat cuts, cooking methods, and meal preparation techniques. 5. Rotate and manage inventory to minimize waste and ensure products are sold within their shelf life. 6. Clean and maintain butchery equipment, such as knives, slicers, grinders, and cutting boards, to ensure their proper functionality.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required
At least 1-2 years of experience in retail supermarket’s fresh departments- meat, seafood or comparable food service experience
Butchery Techniques: Proficiency in cutting, trimming, deboning, portioning, and preparing various types of meat cuts.
Consultative selling skills preferred.
Customer Service: Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
Basic English skill for communication
