Job Descriptions
Main Purpose of Job • To manage purchase and import activity for the company • To assist Thailand local procurement leader/manager for complete global vender’s management project. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Follow standards and procedures for procurement of components and services; minimum order quantities (MOQ). • Follow standards of import procedures, documents and customs declaration. • Negotiate prices, terms, logistic cost and set quality expectations. • Coordinate with SCM Planning team to establish safety stock and reorder points of direct material. • Coordinate with Production team to order in-direct material or spare part. • Finding second source or low-cost supplier. • Handle EDI/ Paperless operate, Import document preparation. • Handle and follow up all of Import shipment, domestic and oversea transportation. • Coordinate with forwarder and other departments. • Other duties as assignments. • Support Senior Procurement to drive global and local projects when needed.
Qualifications
  1. Degree in Supply Chain Management / Purchasing / Logistics or relate field.
  2. At least 0 - 5 years of purchasing and supply chain experience is required.
  3. Ability to work independently and is a team player.
  4. Good written and verbal English communication.
  5. Coordination skills / Project management skills.
  6. Technically proficient and possess good planning and organization skills.
  7. Strong analytical skills and ability to examine reports and data in order to recommend improvements to procedures.
  8. Computer literacy skills.
