Job Descriptions

•Financial Reporting: •Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis. •Help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports for management and stakeholders. •General Ledger Management: •Monitor and maintain the general ledger to record all financial transactions accurately. •Reconcile accounts and investigate any discrepancies found. •Accounts Payable and Receivable: •Support the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and service providers. •Assist in managing customer billing and collections to maintain healthy cash flow. •Payroll and Employee Benefits: •Work with the HR department to ensure accurate payroll processing. •Assist in tracking employee benefits, such as insurance and retirement plans. •Budgeting and Forecasting: •Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for the restaurant. •Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures, highlighting any variances. •Internal Control and Compliance: •Help implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard the restaurant's assets and prevent fraud. •Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and other relevant financial laws. •Inventory Management: •Assist in overseeing the recording and reconciliation of inventory levels to manage food and beverage costs effectively. •Financial Analysis: •Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability and cost efficiency. •Audit Support: •Support external auditors during annual audits or reviews by providing necessary documentation and explanations. •Software and System Management: •Utilize accounting software to process transactions and generate financial reports. •Collaborate with IT or system administrators to troubleshoot and maintain accounting software and related systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
